Fitzpatrick was born in Brisbane, Australia. Fitzpatrick first appeared on television on a Outback Steakhouse commercial. After, she got her first professional job as a model, later becoming a successful actress. She was married for 5 years to Australian Simon Fitzpatrick, before the couple splitting in the late 1990s.
